Jeff Goldblum stars as Zeus in Netflix's new dark comedy series from the creator of The End of the F**king World.
While the new trailer includes our first looks at Cassandra , Medusa , and Lachy , it also seems to suggest our hero fated to usurp the gods, Riddy , only manages to do so after a trip to the underworld. It also appears Zeus is able to successfully cast her into hell, for a period, rendered here as a parallel Earth in black-and-white photography. Only now, the ferry to hell is a, get it? The Gods have modernized.
? Jeff Goldblum certainly looks like he’s having the time of his life playing Zeus in leisurewear. As do Janet McTeer as Hera, Cliff Curtis as Poseidon, and David Thewlis as Hades. As the trailer states, it premieres Thursday, August 29 on Netflix.The actor, who has spent 18 years slowly opening up about his time on Doctor Who , is now, at the very least, incredibly clear about what he'd need to return.
