Kansas has suspended Arterio Morris indefinitely amid legal troubles for the Jayhawk point guard.
University of Kansas police are investigating Morris for an alleged rape at an on-campus dorm in August, according to a The police report didn’t name Morris, but a source told the outlet that he is the subject of the investigation.
Three of his teammates on the men’s basketball team, Johnny Furphy, Elmarko Jackson and Nick Timberlake, were also named in the police report, although they are reportedly not under investigation. The Star reported that no arrests had been made as of Friday and that the case has been forwarded to the Douglas County District Attorney’s office.“I can confirm that Arterio Morris has been suspended from the program,” Kansas athletics spokesman A Kansas spokesperson said coach Bill Self and athletic director Travis Goff had no comment, according to The Star.
