The track that’s “Too Tough To Tame” will host the regular-season finale Sunday night
NICK KELLY al.com Alabama football offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan certainly got his steps in Saturday.
But then Western Kentucky got its headsets working again. So Sheridan returned to the press box and settled in from there.Another moment in the game, the headsets stopped working again. So, Alabama coaches had to stop using theirs. Again. Back to the sideline for Sheridan. “I thought our staff did a great job because that’s not something you practice,” Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said. “In all my years, I never had it happen to where we had to put our headphones down because of someone else’s. Maybe it happens more often than I understand and should practice it, but that was a new one for me.”
And the headset issues weren’t the only surprise Alabama had to handle. The Crimson Tide had to scramble to find a new left tackle minutes before the game. The left tackle change didn’t seem to slow the offense down much, though. Alabama still scored 63 points.
