The East can expect temperatures to be near to slightly above average in July, which is typically theTemperatures may trend near to slightly cooler than average in western New Mexico, eastern Arizona, as well as far northwestern California and far southwestern Oregon. The cooler conditions in parts of the Southwest correlate with where wetter-than-average conditions from the Southwest monsoon are anticipated in July.High temperatures in July typically reach the 80s and 90s for much of the Plains and interior West, meaning above-average temperatures there would suggest a very hot July may be ahead.
