Government lawyers fought Donald Trump’s request to be allowed to discuss classified information at Mar-a-Lago. Judge Aileen M. Cannon appeared to side with them.

Cannon put different conditions on what classified information can be shared with Trump and his two co-defendants — For Nauta, the limitation on classified evidence is more strict, at least at the outset, saying that prosecutors only agree to disclose to him an unredacted version of a photo that was partially redactedNauta is charged with moving boxes at Trump’s request in order to try to conceal from government agents how many classified documents he still possessed. He has pleaded not guilty.
