🎉 Jonathan Van Tam takes the helm as the new Lincolnshire FA Chair
The new Chair of the Lincolnshire Football Association will be lifelong Boston fan Professor Sir Jonathan Van-Tam - best known for his public health efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He was knighted in 2022 for his efforts and services to public health, amplified by his role in the coronavirus pandemic, where he was a member of the UK Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies - and co-Chair of the Global Health Security Advisory Group Pandemic Influenza Working Group. Professor Sir Jonathan said: “It is an honour to be confirmed as the new Chair of the Lincolnshire Football Association and I am looking forward to starting the role.
“Participation in sport has a positive impact on our communities and for those individuals involved supports health, fitness and wellbeing and teaches teamwork, leadership and confidence.”
