John Mayer’s benefit show at The Wiltern aims to help veterans

The intimate solo show on Sept. 19 in Los Angeles will benefit Mayer’s Heart and Armor Foundation, which focuses on healthcare and support for veterans.

Singer-songwriter and noted guitaristwill play a special solo concert to benefit the Heart and Armor Foundation at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Sept. 19.

All of the proceeds will benefit the foundation, which aims to take care of veterans’ health and was founded by Mayer in 2012. Since the show is being held at a smaller venue, fans will need to register with Verified Fan to receive a code before tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15. Confirmation codes will be sent to fans on Thursday, Sept. 14 and will be needed when purchasing.

There will also be an auction for two pairs of tickets via Charity Auctions Today with each pair coming with one autographed poster of the evening’s lineup and early entry into the venue to snag a front-row view of the stage. The show comes before Mayer kicks things off for the fall leg of the solo acoustic tour that will hit the Kia Forum in Inglewood on Friday, Nov. 10.
