This was the script Lucy Flores, a former assembly in Nevada, was up against when she penned an essay for The Cut, an arm of New York Magazine, where she said that former Vice President Joe Biden made her feel uncomfortable at a political rally a few years ago when he allegedly smelled her hair and kissed her on the head. .
The ritual started quickly. Wasn't Flores, now age 39, a supporter of Bernie Sanders? Which would mean that Flores was supposedly accusing one powerful man -- Biden, now age 76 -- of making her uncomfortable in the service of another powerful man? If that is her motive, it would mean that she is likely dooming her own political future ... to help Sanders. Then there was the accusation by a Biden supporter that Flores must be lying, because, after a thorough investigation, it was discovered that she was never alone with Biden. .
