A range of new jobs have become available at Nottingham Castle, Wollaton Park and Newstead Abbey - with salaries of up to £30,000. A Heritage Operations Lead to work at the castle is among the latest listings posted online.
The job description for the vacancy at the Castle, that's due to reopen on June 26, reads: "The successful candidate will lead an efficient and effective estate, property structures and support service. The Heritage Operations Lead will ensure the maintenance, cleaning, security and presentation of the structures and buildings are maintained to corporate standards.
The job description adds: "The Maintenance Heritage Support Assistant will actively participate and assist with the operations of the site to deliver exceptional customer service and statutory compliance for the grounds, buildings and structures. In addition, the post holder will provide a cleaning, grounds and building maintenance and practical facilities support to the site.
The description reads: "The successful candidate will work on a casual basis and provide a warm welcome, actively engage and deliver outstanding customer service to all visitors at our heritage sites. The role will involve maximising visitors' enjoyment of our facilities, optimise opportunities to generate additional income and ensure the site and assets are safe and secure at all times.
