“After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate,” Allen wrote. “As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year.” The “Freedom Was a Highway” crooner noted that the estranged couple’s “number one priority is and always will be ensuring that [their] children are healthy, happy and loved.”, 1, in addition to Allen’s son, Aadyn, 8, from a previous relationship.The country singer and his wife decided to separate “after much thought and reflection.”The “Dancing With the Stars” alum, 37, shared that he and Gale, 27, “remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another.
He concluded his post by “respectfully” asking for “privacy during this time” in light of the news of the pair’s “growing family.”
