Henne retired after winning Super Bowl LVII with the Kansas City Chiefs, with whom he spent the last five years of his career. He told Russini that he will stay retired: “The timing doesn’t work.”The 38-year-old Henne began his career as a second-round pick of the Miami Dolphins in 2008.
Under center for 13 snaps, Henne navigated Kansas City on a 98-yard touchdown drive — the longest in Chiefs postseason history — by completing 5 of 7 passes for 23 yards and a 1-yard TD to tight end Travis Kelce in the second quarter that gave Kansas City a 17-7 lead. During his 15-year career, Henne also played for the Jaguars, where he worked under current Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett when he was the quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator.
In 78 regular-season games , Henne had 60 TDs with 63 interceptions on 13,290 yards passing. He finished his career with a career 16-36 record. A 2010 third-round pick of the Cleveland Browns, McCoy has spent time with five teams in his career.
