Chaos at an unsanctioned Wildwood car rally in September left two dead, including an 18-year-old Carlisle woman.

All Wildwood beach communities have tried to contact the organizers to demand they stop promoting the event, the prosecutor’s office said in a statement Friday.Flyers circulated on Instagram by the “ratedrparties” account, however, list an event called “The Wildwood Beach Linkup” at noon on May 12-13. The event touts “dance battles, twerking contests, beer pong and boxing matches.” A similar event is being advertised by the same group for Seaside Heights on May 5 and 6.
