Ohio State dominated Michigan State with a final score of 38-7. The Buckeyes were led by star freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, who scored two touchdowns including a pair of spectacular one-handed catches that went viral on social media.

Not just because the star freshman scored two more touchdowns, but because of the reactions he caused on social media during OSU's 38-7 road romp at Michigan State .
And on OSU's second drive, Howard led an 80-yard march that culminated in a 4th-down touchdown pass to Gee Scott Jr. from three yards out. On the Buckeyes' first two drives, Howard was 13-of-16 for 116 yards. Between those two possessions, MSU had a long drive of its own but got stopped on 4th-and-short at the OSU 20-yard line.
That's when Smith entered the chat, scoring twice to give OSU the 24-7 halftime lead. His second TD came from Devin Brown, the backup quarterback who came in to relieve Howard briefly after Howard suffered a hard hit.
