Unleashing relentless criticism against former President Donald Trump, U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crocket used her trademark caustic wit Monday to contrast Vice President Kamala Harris as a caring public servant committed to working “for the people.”
It was all on display Monday for one of the biggest speeches of her political career, one where she used sharp language, humor and tears to make her points. She was warmly received by the crowd, many of whom got their first extended look at her other than on social media. Coleman said Crockett’s voice is especially important to Black, young and women voters, including those who may be disenchanted with the party and looking for someone who speaks their language.
Democrats objected, but the panel’s Republican chairman, Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, ruled Greene did not violate a rule barring personal attacks.The moment became a viral sensation as people posted parody remixes of the hearing room exchange or released their own songs incorporating what Crockett called the “B6″ phrase.
