INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson had successful surgery on his injured shoulder Tuesday, team owner Jim Irsay announced.
, formerly known as Twitter, that Richardson underwent the procedure in Los Angeles and that the shoulder had been repaired.Irsay said Richardson was doing well following the surgery, but no date has been set for his return.during the Colts' Week 5 win over the Tennessee Titans on Oct. 8. The rookie quarterback was injured on a 4-yard run with 4:29 left in the first half against the Titans when he fell awkwardly to the ground with two Titans draped around him.
Richardson stayed down for several minutes before walking slowly to the injury tent, his shoulder noticeably drooping to the right side.
