The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office identified the victim who was killed this past weekend.
– The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a homicide in the Porter community.When they arrived at the 23000 block of Holly Ridge, they found Rufino Gutierrez, 34, of Porter with a gunshot wound.
Preliminary investigations conducted by authorities revealed the man’s death was not a suicide, but rather a homicide, the sheriff’s office said.
