While exploring Planet X, astronauts come across its inhabitants called the Xiliens. They request the astronauts to allow them to borrow Godzilla and Rodan to defeat monster Zero who has attacked Planet X. After the Earth complies, the Xiliens show their real face by sending all three monsters to attack the planet while controlling their minds in order to invade Earth.
