UPDATE: Interstate 880 in Fremont has reopened after all lanes were shut down at Thornton Avenue for several hours Sunday because of flooding.

Two southbound lanes reopened just after 4 p.m. Northbound lanes reopened later Sunday. The on-ramps from Stevenson Boulevard to northbound 880 remained closed Monday morning due to flooding
