Indodax, Indonesia’s largest centralized cryptocurrency exchange, has reportedly suffered an exploit resulting in a total loss of $18.2 million.
The monitoring resource detailed that around 5,204 ETH was parked at an address on Ethereum, along with about 6.8 million POL on Polygon and approximately 380 ETH on Optimism.that over 150 transactions had been detected, resulting in a total loss of $18.2 million. They also urged Indodax to take immediate action to mitigate the damage.the potential security issues in a post on X, announcing that it was conducting comprehensive maintenance to ensure the integrity of its platform.
Despite the ongoing breach, the company reassured its users, stating, “But don’t worry, we can assure you that your balance remains 100% safe both in crypto and rupiah.”
