Indians pitcher Mike Clevinger didn't hold back when discussing the Astros' cheating scandal.
Trevor Bauer poured kerosene on the fire Thursday when he alleged wire-wearing by some players on the Houston Astros. Constant accusations, as the team and MLB faces a major electronic sign stealing scandal.
"I don’t think any of those mother should be able to look us in the eye," he said in a video produced and posted online by Momentum, a media company Bauer co-founded. "They should feel ashamed." “I’ve had to live with my mom until I got to the big leagues. And now you’re telling me that someone potentially shorting my career, sent me back down, make me figure shit out because they figured what I was throwing in their park?" Clevinger said. "So many guys are going ‘How can I stay here? What will make me stay here?'"
“Another part that pisses me off: that lineup is talented enough that if they just did the regular baseball and pick what I’m tipping, they’d do damage," Clevinger said.
