India signed the agreement during an official state visit to the White House on June 22.
Ecuador's foreign affairs minister, Gustavuo Mrianda, and NASA associate administrator for International and Interagency Relations Karen Feldstein signed the accords during a ceremony on Wednesday.
"Today, Ecuador joins the group of nations committed to safeguarding outer space for the future," said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson in a NASA."The achievements made in this golden era of exploration will benefit the Artemis generation — in our nations and around the globe." Meanwhile, the White House's statement announcing India's signing of the accords lays out the further cooperation in space between the world's most populous country and the United States, indicating that NASA will provide training to astronauts with the Indian Space Research Organization ahead of a 2024 joint mission to the
