The initial response began on Tuesday, Feb. 27, when Box Elder dispatch received a 911 call reporting a potential missing person. Police determined the woman was missing and immediately began searching for her, leading to the discovery of the woman in Box Elder Creek. Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the incident or who may have seen Escalona-De Angola between 9 p.m. on Feb. 26 and 9 a.m. on Feb. 27 to call Brigham City Police Department at 435-734-6650 or Box Elder Communication Center at 435-734-6890.
