The iconic house from 'A Christmas Story' is going to have a new owner.
File video above: Visitors gather at 'A Christmas Story' house, participate in auction for various prizesThe fictional boyhood home of Ralphie Parker from the 1983 film “A Christmas Story” is nestled in Cleveland’s historic Tremont neighborhood,In a post on their Facebook page, the owners said they have reached a deal for a change in ownership. They said they expect to have an agreement finalized by the end of November. After that, they said they will introduce the new owner.
11th Street, the neighboring museum, a gift shop and a neighbor's house.The house was built in 1895 and was bought on eBay in December 2004 and renovated to restore it to its original condition from the movie.Tours of the house started in 2006 and have since welcomed over one million guests and counting.The estate spans 1.3 acres of land and five buildings.The house is still open for business during and after the sale, open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
