A new shop, Joey Jak’s Real Fruit Ice Cream, specializes in New Zealand-style ice cream.
Unlike American ice cream, New Zealand-style ice cream is made from a base of hard ice cream blended with frozen real fruit through a special blender. The result is a fruity soft-serve ice cream.
Kim Flinchbaugh and her husband had that type of ice cream for the first time when visiting their daughter and son-in-law in Portland, Oregon.is custom-made. Customers can watch their orders being prepared. They include a choice of toppings. Premade half pints will also be available to purchase soon.Our customers love the taste of real fruit in the ice cream. Customers who choose the non-dairy option comment that it’s the best non-dairy ice cream they’ve ever had.
