The break was timely.
The pandemic led to a surge in demand for e-commerce and our bottled drinks sold well. That was when I decided we were doing well enough for me to quit and focus on the tea business full-time.But when pandemic restrictions were lifted, demand fell, and we saw business tumble. It was scary. It was our first experience with volatility — something we've since learned to live with.
