Most Of The Original NCIS Cast Showed Up In The JAG Episodes All The NCIS Favorites Were Already In The Pilot Close Many of the original NCIS cast members made their first appearances in this two-part backdoor pilot. Mark Harmon introduced the character of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, the non-nonsense leader of the NCIS team, and Michael Weatherly played the charming and witty Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo.
