Milan Design Week debut for STO, Tecnica and Spyder - Lamborghini will offer 60 examples of each.
It’s easy to read ‘Lamborghini’ and ‘Anniversary’ in the same sentence and assume the worst, probably thanks to that godawful Countach from many moons ago. But even if the shadow of that spoiler still looms large, today’s Lamborghini is a very different brand, and now its anniversary specials - marking 60 years since Ferruccio formed his eponymous company - are much classier creations. They’re being revealed at Milan Design Week, for a start.
Appropriately enough, there will 60 examples each of three limited editions, based on the Huracan STO, Tecnica and Evo Spyder. Though all mechanically standard, it’s hardly like anybody ever has had a complaint about the Huracan’s powertrains; instead each has been subjected to a cosmetic overhaul, designed to ‘enhanced both the spirit and the unique lines that distinguish each model’.
