Olentangy Liberty’s 22-10 win advances it to a rematch with defending Division I state champion Upper Arlington.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Back in the state semifinals for the second straight year, Hudson’s bid for a berth in the OHSAA Division I girls lacrosse state title game ended for the second straight year against Olentangy Liberty.The Explorers jumped out to a 4-0 lead, including two shots by from junior Grace Churchwell and another from Renee Morgan. Liberty got on board with a penalty shot by Corinna Hilmas, starting a 6-1 run to take a 6-5 lead through the first period.
Liberty will play Upper Arlington at 7 p.m. Friday in Columbus at Historic Crew Stadium for the Division I state championship.
