On Sunday, June 23, Vogue is taking over the City of Light. Here’s how you can join in on the festivities.
“If Vogue World: New York was a street fair, and Vogue World: London was a glamorous night at the theater—supporting arts and cultural organizations in London—Paris will be a kind of opening ceremony,” said Vogue global editorial director and Condé Nast chief content officer Anna Wintour at a press conference in February. “One that celebrates 100 years of fashion and sport, as well as this extraordinary city.” Luckily, you don’t have to literally be in Paris to take a trip to Vogue World.
Former editor in chief of Vogue Paris Carine Roitfeld, Dazed editor Ib Kamara, Vogue’s global creative director Juan Costa Paz, and Palais Galliera curator Alexandre Samson will be overseeing the fashion components. Makeup maven Dame Pat McGrath will be overseeing makeup design while Rihanna’s Super Bowl choreographer Parris Goebel is in charge of artistic direction and choreography for the event. But that’s not all.
