Four families will face off to be named best home haunt in the country on the season premiere on ABC.
There are only two episodes - the second one airs Oct. 29. Two of eight families will each win $50,000 for their Halloween decorations.

On Oct. 29, ABC says, “The Gentry family welcomes guests and ghouls to dance along to an animatronic skeleton performance that wakes the dead at Ghost Manor in New Orleans, Louisiana; the Hoke family from Granger Indiana invites you to enter their Chamber of Souls and ride on their expertly constructed replica of a Doom Buggy inspired by the Haunted Mansion attraction at Walt Disney World Resort
; the DeMatteo family transforms their yard into an epic pirate battle with life-sized ships and pyrotechnics at Halloween on Ambush in Churchville, New York; and the Roa-St. Pierre family takes the chills to the next level with their eerie 1800′s-era haunted Reichland Asylum in Riverside, California. Watch as judge Taniya Nayak decides who will win the $50,000 grand prize and coveted Fright Fight trophy.
