At the final Eras Tour date, Taylor Swift let fans know that her final two re-recordings, Reputation and Taylor Swift , are on the way. Swift even hinted at which rerecording will come first and which will be the last Taylor's Version released, if you paid close enough attention.
Before taking her 18 years of artistry on the road, the singer-songwriter gave fans two Taylor's Versions, Fearless and Red, in 2021. The next two came in the midst of the cultural phenomenon. Swift surprised audiences by announcing Speak Now and 1989 during her acoustic sets at her Nashville and Los Angeles shows. While Swift didn't announce any new releases at her final show, she did leave easter eggs for the final albums.
Swift has proven that nothing she does is a coincidence, so this seems like a special hint that Taylor Swift is coming soon. The pop star also mashed the song up with her 1989 single"New Romantics," suggesting that debut might be the next re-recording to be released. Taylor Swift's last released re-recording was 1989, back in October 2023, and"New Romantics" is the final song on the original album, not including the added vault tracks.
