Semien took three sweepers out of the zone to work a 3-0 count, but ultimately couldn’t get good wood on one and struck out on a foul tip. Langford fell behind 1-2, then held off on a tempting offering for ball two. Sweeper No. 5 from Wilson was left over the middle of the plate and Langford took advantage: His rope into left field screamed over the outfielder’s head and drove in Travis Jankowski for the win.It wasn’t just Langford that was battling — the Rangers tied up the game in a ninth-inning rally that featured an eight-pitch walk from Nathaniel Lowe and a seven-pitch single from Jonah Heim that knotted things up at 3-3.
