Split into two parts, with the second half of You season 4 making its debut on March 9, the latest installment of the hit Netflix thriller sees Penn Badgley's Joe Goldberg once again move to a new location in order to avoid past crimes.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Adam Pratt is one of the faces he meets in his new environment. Although he seems to be in a good relationship with Lady Phoebe Borehall-Blaxworth , Adam carries a secret: he likes getting peed on by individuals that he considers to be beneath his level of wealth and status.
I’ll say it was my idea to wear the googles. With that scene, and in The White Lotus, I wasn’t doing it to be sexy, but for comedic value. I didn’t think it was going to be hot for people. But I did want to go as far as possible. It can’t be a half rim job, or a half golden shower — although we did use a water machine with yellow food coloring.
On the whole, the Netflix series does a lot to separate itself from the show it has been. You season 4 is more of a whodunnit, with Joe having to figure out who knows his real identity. At least in the first five episodes, he doesn't really do much that's objectionable and even helps to save a person's life. It's a departure from the Joe of the past, but it's also less of the twisty and absurd romantic thriller that audiences watched in droves.
Still, by the end of part 1, Joe learns of who has been threatening him with taunting messages, and it's suggested that the two will have to work in unison while Joe figures out a way to save himself. It's a continuation that shows promise. But it also suggests that You should end soon, as Joe can't keep finding awful people to hide behind.
