As the end of the regular season draws closer, stacking wins is key right now as teams around the Houston area vie for playoff positioning. While some districts have clear favorites, there are some intriguing matchups this week that could shape the landscape of the postseason.
This rivalry will be renewed Friday evening with plenty on the line for both teams. Tomball enters this matchup tied atop the District 15-6A standings with Klein Collins at 3-0. Tomball Memorial, meanwhile, is tied for fifth place with Klein at 1-2 and could use a big victory here. Tomball has won four consecutive games since dropping nondistrict matchups against Stratford and Magnolia. The Cougars are coming off a 62-13 victory against Waller.
