Members of Houston coaching staff will wear black hoodie sweaters with “STATE” across the front in honor of late Mississippi State coach Mike Leach.SHREVEPORT, La. — Members of the University of Houston coaching staff will pay tribute to Mike Leach during Friday’s Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl.
Head coach Dana Holgorsen, quarterbacks coach/passing game coordinator Shannon Dawson and offensive line coach/run game coordinator Brandon Jones will wear black hoodie sweaters with “STATE” across the front in honor of Leach. Leach, the Mississippi State coach who died from heart-related complications on Dec. 13, was known to wear a similar sweater on game day.
