The head of the House Oversight and Reform Committee requested documents from the National Football League related to its investigation of the workplace culture at the Washington Football Team in the wake of leaked emails connected to the investigation that led to theRep. Carolyn B.

Maloney , the committee chairwoman, and Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi , chairman of the subcommittee on economic and consumer policy, sent a letter to commissioner Roger Goodell requesting information about the NFL’s investigation saying they were seeking to fully understand the misconduct and the league’s response.
