We’re proud to announce HOT ROD Power Tour West returning in 2024 after its successful launch last year.
officially returns in 2024, exploring new roads and locations over five days. Mark your calendars and submit your vacation time as HOT ROD will be cruising October 7 – 11 from Southern California through the desert and finishing in Arizona. Registration opens in July with several levels of packages and daily activities as we get out and cruise through the western United States.
. We will be serving drag racing as the day’s special activity, giving participants a rare opportunity to make laps on the world-famous track. The tour moves south on Tuesday, to San Diego, where we will take over Pechanga Arena. We have a strong feeling that hump day on tour will be better than any day at work and the group will move north to Riverside County Fairgrounds . The fourth day is a beach day, but the sandy shoreline is in Lake Havasu, Arizona at Windsor Beach.
KICKOFF / Day 1: Monday, October 7 – In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip, Pomona, Calif. Day 3: Wednesday, October 9 – Riverside County Fairgrounds, Indio, Calif.In 1995 the HOT ROD Magazine editors decided to pack a bag, fill up the tanks in their favorite project cars, and take a road trip from their home base in Los Angeles to the season-opening HOT ROD Power Festival event in Norwalk, Ohio. They made an open invitation to their readers and anyone else who wanted to join them.
