Jaramaine Wilcox Jr., 32, was shot in Blue Island, David Parra, 30, and Jose Antonio Munoz Chavez, 32, were both shot in Chicago Heights, and Kwamain Jones, 33, was shot in Robbins.
Authorities reported the shooting deaths of five people in the Chicago south suburbs during the Labor Day weekend.
Emergency medical personnel rendered assistance and Wilcox was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 8 p.m.The medical examiner’s office reported Wilcox had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and ruled his death a homicide.Chicago Heights police said they responded at about 4 a.m. Sunday to numerous reports of shots fired in the 500 block of West 14th Place.
The office also reported the shooting death of a person in the 50 block of East 159th Street in Harvey.
