“He has that extra gear of elite recovery speed,” Flournoy said of Gordon in May. “Even if he doesn’t play something quite right, he can break under it and defend it. He has great feet, great hands. I’ve coached in a lot of other places. He is not just a small-town, 4A level player. He could play in anyone’s program.”
Gordon finished his sophomore year at Jackson with 30 tackles, including two for loss. He mostly played corner for the Aggies but has the versatility to move around the defensive backfield. He also plays receiver and returns kicks for the Aggies and has a talented family lineage. His brother is South Alabama wide receiver Jamaal Pritchett.
