DAVID MUNDEE Seminole County earned its first win over a state ranked team in 11 years, downing consensus state ranked Schley County 32-14 at Seminole Stadium in Donalsonville on Friday night in the Indians’ season opener in Georgia.
The victory was the first over a ranked team for Seminole County since beating No. 9 Early County in the 2013 season opener. The Indians had lost their last 16 games against ranked teams. Westover 32, Early County 14: Early County lost its season opener on Friday, falling at home at Standifer Field 28-8 to Westover of Albany.
