. You can allow the airline to book you space on the next available flight to your destination at no extra charge. If you choose not to do that, the airline will offer you a refund for the"unused portion" of your Southwest ticket. These two options are also available to customers whose flights are delayed by more than three hours.
These options are available to customers only when cancellations are caused by circumstances beyond the airline's control, including weather hazards, crew limitations and other safety concerns.
