Here come the storms, locally heavy rain and flooding

A Flood Advisory has also been posted for SE GA from Jekyll Island to Catfish Acres through 5:15 pm.
Evening: Rinse. Wash. Repeat. Pesky storms that are not in a hurry to get anywhere will spread locally heavy rain and storms along our coastal counties. Scattered showers with storms will continue to develop and slowly move inland through early evening and fade late tonight. Overnight showers will be possible under the weakening northeasterly flow.
Weekend: More of the same. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy early. Becoming cloudy and stormy mainly after noon through early evening. Rain chances will average 40-60 percent for SE GA and 60-70 percent for NE FL. Morning lows in the 70s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Wind NE 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
