After receiving a negative review on a city Facebook page, New Braunfels restaurant Herbert's posted a minute-by-minute playback of what really went down.

A scathing customer review elicited no apology from a New Braunfels Mexican restaurant, which posted security footage on social media to defend its honor. In a since-deleted post to the 'Everything New Braunfels ' Facebook group, a frequent customer named Susan said she was 'never returning' to Herbert 's at 1440 N. Walnut Ave . She wrote that during an Aug. 6 visit, she was charged full price instead of the discounted lunch special price that starts at 11 a.m.

The restaurant said the couple's waiter gave them free drinks, and the video shows a cashier — while Susan stands across the counter from her — spend 3 minutes to void the original bill and produce a new one that honored the lunch special. 'Unfortunately for Susan the system is set to 11 and therefore charges the regular price as it has been programmed to do so for many, many years,' Herbert's wrote.
