HBO has edited out the 'Starkbucks' coffee cup fans spotted in last week's episode of GameofThrones
Game of Thrones' infamous coffee cup will no longer be seen in front of Daenerys Targaryen. Since the airing of episode 4 on Sunday, the modern-day gem became a trending topic among fans. HBO has since edited out the anachronistic object and released a statement saying it was, indeed, a mistake.
While the coffee cup is no longer present within Season 8, episode 4, the Game of Thrones mistake will forever live in our memories, quick-witted tweets and memes. Though Richter seemed adamant about no mistakes happening within GoT so far, many fans were quick to put together a list of"mistakes" within the series, including the cinematography during episode 3.
Eagle-eyed fans also pointed out after the premiere of episode 4 that the Mother of Dragons was seen with two different hairstyles in the same scene.
