Police Commissioner Thomas Carter spoke about the deadly shooting of pregnant woman in Harrisburg.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Police in Harrisburg are working to figure out who shot a 19-year-old mother and her unborn child Monday evening. It's not known how many hit 19-year-old Tyemeshia Miller, who authorities say was approximately five months pregnant with a baby boy.

“I am so sick and tired of saying it’s a tragedy. Yes it’s a tragedy but how are we going to stop it?" added Police Commissioner Thomas Carter, who was visibly emotional over Monday's incident."Yesterday we had a whole detail out with my street crimes unit. We had the state police out, my street crimes unit working side by side to stop incidents like this.”

"Please, please, please, on behalf of the unborn child can we please do something about this here," said Commissioner Carter.
