LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio - Elyria police said a handcuffed man who escaped their custody Monday evening while officers were taking him out of an apartment building, remains missing.
On Tuesday, officers obtained surveillance footage showing Parker running eastbound toward a wooded area near the Black River. “Due to treacherous terrain, icy water conditions, and nighttime visibility concerns, search efforts were temporarily halted for safety reasons and Parker remained missing,” said Captain Lantz.
