Hailie Deegan is moving from NASCAR to IndyCar and plans to compete in the Indy NXT Series next year with HMD Motorsports. Deegan will drive the No. 38 entry for the full 14-race calendar of the series one step below IndyCar. The 23-year-old has spent the last four years in NASCAR competing in both the Truck Series — where she made her debut at age 18 — and in the Xfinity Series. The native of Temecula, California, has never won at NASCAR’s national level.
