The rest of the top 15 with the highest overall customer preference scores are, in order: Sam’s Club, Market Basket, Amazon Fresh, Trader Joes, WinCo Foods, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Target, Aldi, Shoprite, Walmart Neighborhood Market and Walmart. The retailers in this group have $924 in grocery sales per square foot and a 5-year compound annual sales growth rate of 7.3%. The top 15 retailers together had an average of 59% of customers say they have a strong emotional connection to the grocers.
