CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Guardians’ offseason of uncertainty began Tuesday when Terry Francona announced he was stepping aside after 11 seasons as manager. Francona will continue with the organization in some capacity that has yet to be determined, but while he did leave the door slightly open for a return to managing, he said the only place he would like to manage is Cleveland.
