ViewRay Inc., the company that developed an MRI-guided radiation therapy for cancer patients, announced that it will move its headquarters from Greater Cleveland to Colorado “to attract top-tier talent from the state’s growing medical technology sector.”

OAKWOOD, Ohio - ViewRay Inc., the Oakwood company that has developed an MRI-guided radiation therapy for cancer patients, announced Monday that it will move its headquarters from Greater Cleveland to Colorado “to attract top-tier talent from the state’s growing medical technology sector.”

The medical device maker will continue to invest in its Oakwood operations, which will focus on product development and customer and physician training, a company spokeswoman said in an emailed response to questions. Since opening a Denver office In mid-2019, ViewRay has grown its initial staff of 10 people to 50 “with the expansion of the company’s international marketing, finance and legal teams,” the company said in a statement.
